Payment and Delivery

Is it safe to shop online?

Yes, absolutely, we have taken every precaution to make your shopping experience with us a safe one.   All your personal and payment details are taken through a secure server link.  When you enter your details you will see a padlock and the address bar will start with a ‘https’ which means you will be entering your details securely and all information will be encrypted. We do not store any credit card information as it is handled by Paypal, a secure checkout service.
How can I pay?
You can pay using Paypal (please not you do not need to have a Paypal account to do this)   You can also use most credit cards including MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, Visa All Electron and American Express.  
What delivery options do you offer?

All orders are dispatched within 1-3 working days after your order has been placed. If you need your order fast, please email to let me know so it can be prioritised.

Standard Delivery is £2.75 and is dispatched using Royal Mail 2nd class or a courier depending on the weight and size of your parcel.  Standard delivery will usually arrive to you within 3-5 working days.  

Free Collections
We offer a free collection service to you if you live close enough to the shop or to my home address  and would like to pop in thereby saving you the postage costs.  To arrange this please place your order, selecting the 'free collection' option and then email us at hello@thesunshinestore.co.uk

Your item will arrive well packaged and where possible will be wrapped in tissue paper (this may not be possible with larger items).  We try to reuse our suppliers packaging when it is possible to do this (doing our bit for the environment) so this may mean that your box is not always brand new.  Please try and reuse or recycle the packaging.  

Overseas Orders
If you are outside the UK, please contact us before placing an order for a delivery quote.

We hope that you will love your purchase(s) from The Sunshine Store.  As with all online shopping you can't be certain about the item until your parcel arrives...it's fine if you decide not to keep it.


Before you return a parcel to us please let us know that you are going to return it and then return within 10 working day (2 weeks).   This does not apply to personalised items.  

Refunds or exchanges will only be made for items in good condition and in all original undamaged packaging.  Items not sent back correctly may be refused by us.   

The postage paid to return the item will be non-refundable.

Faulty/Damaged Items

We do try to check all items prior to dispatch and pack them carefully but should your item arrive damaged or faulty, please let us know within 48 hours of receipt and we will work with you to offer a full refund or replacement (including postage costs incurred in returning).  After this time, we cannot accept responsibility for damages/faults reported.  

Please send a photograph of the damage as soon as possible. You must agree the return postage costs with us before returning. 

If we have sent the wrong item to you, please contact us to rectify this within 48 hours of receiving your parcel.
